I find joy in spending time with my toddler and family, trying new coffee shops, doing creative projects, and exploring thrift stores for small treasures. My happy places are where I feel most grounded and inspired—whether it's in the kitchen making a hearty meal, watching the sunset over the ocean, or sharing meaningful conversations with loved ones. These spaces remind me of the importance of balance, connection, and inner peace, values I strive to bring into my work as a counselor.
In my work with clients, I use a psychodynamic approach to help them explore how past experiences and early relationships may be influencing their current struggles. Together, we look at patterns in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that might feel stuck or hard to change. I offer a supportive space where clients can safely reflect on deeper emotions—sometimes ones they haven’t fully put into words before. Through this process, we work toward greater self-awareness and understanding, allowing clients to make more intentional choices, improve relationships, and find relief from feelings like anxiety or depression that may have been building over time.
I believe growth starts with understanding and compassion, which is why I take a psychodynamic and relational approach to therapy. Our sessions will feel like a meaningful conversation, exploring the deeper patterns and motivations shaping your life while staying focused on practical steps for healing. Whether you're navigating personal challenges or relationship struggles, we’ll work together to uncover insights and create lasting change.
