If you could peek into Amanda’s world outside of therapy, you’d probably find her experimenting with a new baking project, planning her next camping trip, or with a cat on her lap listening to the latest episode of We Can Do Hard Things. Those same passions for creativity, connection, and curiosity also show up in her work as a therapist.

Amanda is an LPC-Associate specializing in individuals (16+) and couples. She believes that healing happens in connection: with ourselves, our communities, and the world around us. Her approach is relational and trauma-informed, grounded in multicultural-feminist values and guided by the belief that every person holds the capacity for healing within them. She draws from IFS, attachment-based, and somatic frameworks to help clients reconnect with their bodies, emotions, and authentic selves.

In therapy, you can expect a warm, collaborative space where all parts of you are welcome -- especially the ones that feel messy, complicated, or hard to hold. I show up with authenticity, curiosity, and a willingness to gently challenge you as we engage in deep, meaningful reflection. Together, we’ll explore both your past and present, honor your strengths, and move toward ways of being that feel more empowered, authentic, and connected.

Amanda is especially passionate about supporting trauma survivors, fellow members of the LGBTQ+ community, and neurodivergent clients. She strives to create an affirming, compassionate environment where clients feel truly seen and supported in all the complexities of their lived experiences. Amanda earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University and has received additional training in EMDR and trauma-focused care.
